At 142 AM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly north of a
Tulsa to Fayetteville line. Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain
were located in Delaware and Nowata counties in Oklahoma and Benton
county in Arkansas. The precipitation was in the Bentonville, Rogers
and Fayetteville area. Movement was to the east at around 40 mph.
The average amount where it rained last hour was around one quarter
of an inch with maximum amounts of three to four inches. Coverage
and intensity remained about the same as last hour. The Tulsa area
forecast for late tonight, partly cloudy, a chance of showers and
thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may be severe .
