High pressure will briefly build into the region today before
moving east of the Ohio Valley tonight. A weak surface low will
track north through the area on Tuesday, bringing rain during the
morning and afternoon hours. Drier conditions will move in Tuesday
night as colder air begins to filter into the region. A more
substantial push of cold air will arrive Wednesday night into
early Thursday, bringing below normal temperatures back into the
Ohio Valley. A slight warming trend should develop for the latter
half of the upcoming weekend into early next week.
