AFTER A DRY START TO THE MONTH...RAINFALL PICKED UP DURING THE 2ND
HALF OF MAY IN THE HAVRE AREA...WITH A MONTHLY TOTAL OF 1.58 INCHES.
HOWEVER...THIS RAINFALL WAS STILL SHORT OF THE MONTHLY AVERAGE BY
0.16 INCHES. THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS JUST A BIT
COOLER THAN NORMAL BY 2.0 DEGREES...RESULTING IN AN AVERAGE
TEMPERATURE OF 52.0 DEGREES. THERE WHERE A FEW RECORD LOWS SET...ON
MAY 9TH THE TEMPERATURE FELL TO 26 DEGREES AND ON MAY 18TH THE
TEMPERATURE FELL TO 27 DEGREES.
