FALL 2015 AT THE GRAND FORKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WAS WARMER AND
DRIER THAN NORMAL. THE MEAN HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 59.5 DEGREES FOR THE
SEASON WAS 6.5 DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE...MAKING IT THE SECOND HIGHEST
RECORDED. THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 48.0 DEGREES MAKING IT 6.0
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THIS IS ALSO THE SECOND HIGHEST RECORDED. FOR
THE MEAN LOW TEMPERATURE OF 36.5...IT WAS 5.4 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL
AND RANKED THIRD. LIQUID PRECIPITATION WAS 3.44 INCHES AND WAS 1.53
INCHES BELOW THE SEASONAL AVERAGE OF 4.97 INCHES. SNOWFALL WAS WELL
BELOW NORMAL WITH 2.7 INCHES...WHICH IS 6.5 INCHES BELOW THE AVERAGE
OF 9.2 INCHES.
