...Rain today and continued snowmelt may cause localized flooding
through Wednesday...

...Flooding along the Malheur and Weiser Rivers tonight and

Mild and breezy conditions will accelerate snowmelt across lower
elevations of southeast Oregon and southwest Idaho. This will
continue the threat of localized flooding at sites where significant
amounts of snow remain. Saturated soils and already high running
creeks and rivers will further increase the flood potential.

Potential impacts from flooding include city streets and parking
lots, fields, small creeks and streams, and low-lying roads. Homes
with poor drainage around the foundation may be at risk for basement

The Weiser River and Malheur River will see continued rises through
Wednesday, with flooding forecast. These rivers will need to be
monitored closely. Please see Flood Warnings issued on each of
these rivers for details.

Residents and travelers are encouraged to monitor this weather
situation for updates, and possible watches or warnings.
