Advisory for the North Branch Chicago River...

  North Branch Chicago River at Chicago Albany Ave affecting Cook
  County


.Rainfall of one to nearly two inches fell across the basin Saturday
afternoon and evening. This will likely lead to significant rises on
the North Branch Chicago River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

* until late Monday night.
* At  900 PM Saturday the stage was 2.1 feet.
* Action stage is 5.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 5.5 feet by Monday morning.
