Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia

.DISCUSSION...High pressure and the upper level ridge which have
provided well above normal temperatures will remain over the
region today then begin moving east of the area tonight. On Sunday
a cold front will cross the central Gulf States then move into the
area Sunday evening. The front will stall over the region Sunday
night and Monday then move offshore Monday night. High pressure
will briefly be over the region Tuesday with rain returning for
Wednesday and Thursday. With the warm and moist air mass in place
fog and low stratus clouds will again be possible Sunday morning.
