National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX
350 PM CDT Sun Apr 30 2017

.DISCUSSION...
The gusty west and northwest winds late this afternoon should relax
rapidly with light and variable winds by early evening as high pressure
moves overhead. The high moves out into the Gulf Monday with winds
becoming southwesterly and temperatures rising back above normal with
dry conditions. South to southeast winds Tuesday with increasing moisture
followed by a cold front moving through the region Wednesday afternoon and
evening. Scattered showers and thunderstorms should accompany the front and
strong thunderstorms may be possible with a very unstable atmosphere. Dry
north winds Thursday should last through Friday afternoon.
