FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
253 PM CDT THU JUL 30 2015

.DISCUSSION...
A COLD FRONT MOVING ACROSS THE REGION WILL BRING DRIER AND
SLIGHTLY COOLER AIR ACROSS NORTHERN ALABAMA FOR THE REMAINDER
OF THIS WEEK. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT AND FRIDAY NIGHT SHOULD
COOL INTO THE MID 60S. HIGHS ON FRIDAY SHOULD WARM INTO THE
MID/UPPER 80S...AND AROUND 90 ON SATURDAY. MINIMUM RELATIVE
HUMIDITY VALUES SHOULD FALL INTO THE MID 30S PERCENT RANGE
DURING FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. GOOD TO VERY GOOD SMOKE DISPERSION
RATES ARE FORECASTED FOR FRIDAY...WITH TRANSPORT WINDS FROM
THE NORTHEAST 15-20 MPH...ALONG WITH MIXING HEIGHTS OVER 7000
FEET AGL. SOMEWHAT LIGHTER TRANSPORT WINDS...BUT HIGHER MIXING
HEIGHTS SHOULD YIELD GOOD DISPERSION RATES ON SATURDAY.

DRY WEATHER SHOULD CONTINUE INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. A GRADUAL
INCREASE IN MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY WILL RETURN RAIN CHANCES
FOR THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
