National Weather Service Lake Charles LA
409 AM CST Sun Feb 25 2018

.DISCUSSION...
A broad line of showers and a few thunderstorms will slowly move
through the area this morning along and behind a cold front that
is expected to stall near the coast later today. Winds will turn
out of the northwest behind the front. A brief lull in the precipitation
may occur late this morning through early afternoon before a second upper
level feature swings through the area providing another round of widespread
showers and thunderstorms late this afternoon into tonight before coming to
an end early Monday.

Slightly cooler and drier air will filter in behind the front Monday.
By Tuesday the front lifts back out of the gulf as a warm front providing
scattered showers and thunderstorms for the middle of the week.
