THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...AN ISOLATED DRY THUNDERSTORM MAY DEVELOP ALONG THE
NORTH SLOPES SANTA BARBARA...VENTURA AND LOS ANGELES COUNTIES THIS
AFTERNOON AND MOVE SOUTH BEFORE DISSIPATING. THE THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY
WILL END SOON AROUND SUNSET. A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE OVER THE AREA WILL
SHIFT EAST OF THE AREA LATE THIS EVENING. A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL
BUILD OVER THE AREA THIS WEEKEND. A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE IS EXPECTED
TO APPROACH AND MOVE OVER THE AREA MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. THE MARINE
LAYER WAS AROUND 4000 FEET ASL THIS MORNING AND WILL RETREAT SEAWARD
SATURDAY THROUGH SUNDAY. THE MARINE LAYER IS EXPECTED TO DESCEND TO 1000 TO
2000 FEET ASL THIS WEEKEND AND THEN PUSH INLAND TO APPROXIMATELY 3000 FEET ASL
NEXT WEEK MONDAY NIGHT. A WARMING TREND IS EXPECTED SATURDAY THROUGH
SUNDAY AND INLAND TEMPERATURES WILL LIKELY BE 3 TO 8 DEGREES ABOVE SEASONAL
NORMAL SATURDAY WHERE THE COASTAL TEMPERATURES WILL BE 1 TO 3 DEGREES BELOW
NORMAL. AND BY SUNDAY TEMPERATURES WILL LIKELY BE 3 TO 9 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL
OVER THE ENTIRE AREA. MODERATE RELATIVE HUMIDITY RECOVERY IS EXPECTED IN THE
HIGH COUNTRY TONIGHT THEN POOR TO MODERATE RECOVERY IS EXPECTED
EACH NIGHT THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE PERIOD AND GOOD RECOVERY IS EXPECTED
