FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTH FLORIDA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIAMI FL
356 PM EDT MON MAY 2 2016

...DISPERSION 75 TO 80 POSSIBLE IN THE INTERIOR TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY...

.DISCUSSION...
SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE THROUGH MID WEEK AS
HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE REGION WEAKENS AND A FRONTAL BOUNDARY
APPROACHES. SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL TURN MORE SOUTHWESTERLY
ON TUESDAY, BRINGING AN INCREASED THREAT FOR STORMS TO ALL OF SOUTH
FLORIDA. STRONGER TRANSPORT WINDS WILL ALSO LEAD TO VERY GOOD TO
EXCELLENT DISPERSIONS. NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE EXPECTED ON
WEDNESDAY AS THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY MOVES THROUGH THE AREA. VERY DRY
NORTHWESTERLY FLOW IS EXPECTED BEHIND THE FRONT LATE WEEK ALLOWING FOR
THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY TO FALL BELOW 35 PERCENT OVER MOST OF SOUTH
FLORIDA.

FOG DEVELOPMENT IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME FOR TONIGHT. FOG
DEVELOPMENT MAY BE POSSIBLE FOR TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY
MORNING.
