Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
322 PM MDT Sun Sep 24 2017

.Discussion...

An early fall storm system continues to spin over northeastern
Utah and southwestern Wyoming this afternoon. This system will
bring scattered showers and below average temperatures to the
district for the next few days. Snow showers will be possible
in the mountains above 8,000 feet at night and 10,000 feet
during the day. Local light accumulations will be possible
mainly on grassy areas. Freezing temperatures will impact
many of the mountain and high valley areas over the next
couple of nights.

Afternoon ventilation rates will generally reach good or better
in the mountains and high valleys for the next couple of days.
Across the plains, rates will generally be poor.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
