Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Kansas and Southwest and Central Missouri
National Weather Service Springfield MO
142 AM CST Tue Jan 16 2018

.DISCUSSION...

Bitterly cold temperatures were observed this morning as wind chill
values ranged from -10 and -20 degrees below zero. No additional
snow is in the forecast, and dry weather will continue the next
several days.

A much welcomed warm up is also expected as readings reach the 50s
by Friday, and the 60s on Saturday.

This warm weather could bring showers and thunderstorms to the
Ozarks on Sunday.
