...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

HIGH PRESSURE EXPANDING WESTWARD WILL HELP DRAW MONSOON MOISTURE
BACK INTO THE REGION WEDNESDAY. THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ARE EXPECTED
TO OCCUR OVER MUCH OF THE SOUTHERN HALF OF THE FORECAST AREA
THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK. TEMPERATURES WILL BE DEPENDENT OF
CLOUD COVER AND THUNDERSTORMS BUT SHOULD STAY CLOSE TO NORMAL.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

STRONG HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING OVER THE FOUR CORNERS REGION WILL
BRING WARM...HUMID AIR INTO THE REGION WEDNESDAY WHICH WILL PERSIST
OVER THE REGION THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. SCATTERED SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS. SOME
STORMS MAY DRIFT INTO THE INLAND VALLEYS AT TIMES...MAINLY WEDNESDAY
AND THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE MARINE LAYER WILL BECOME
SHALLOWER THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AND REMAIN SHALLOW INTO EARLY NEXT
WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

MOISTURE LEVELS WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE TONIGHT AND REACH THEIR
HIGHEST LEVELS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. THIS WILL RESULT IN AN
INCREASE OF MOUNTAIN SHOWERS AND STORMS ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN ARIZONA
TODAY...SPREADING TO THE REST OF THE REGION INCLUDING THE LOWER
DESERTS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN AT OR BELOW
AVERAGE. WINDS WILL MAINLY FOLLOW TYPICAL UPSLOPE/DRAINAGE
PATTERNS...EXCEPT IN THE VICINITY OF THUNDERSTORMS.
