...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

THE THREAT OF AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS EXISTS PRIMARILY
OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE SOUTHERN GREAT BASIN AND MOJAVE
DESERT FOR THE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. ELSEWHERE TEMPERATURES WILL
REMAIN A FEW DEGREES BELOW NORMAL UNDER MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. ABOVE
NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL DEVELOP BY THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK WITH THE
FIRST BOUT OF WIDESPREAD TRIPLE DIGITS ACROSS THE MOJAVE DESERT.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A PERSISTENT WEATHER PATTERN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE HOLIDAY
WEEKEND. A DEEP MARINE LAYER WILL KEEP THE WEATHER COOLER AND MORE
HUMID THAN AVERAGE WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS. BREEZY CONDITIONS DURING
THE EVENINGS IN PARTS OF THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

WITH DRY NORTHWESTERLY FLOW ALOFT...BELOW NORMAL AFTERNOON HIGH
TEMPERATURES ON FRIDAY WILL WARM TO THE MID 90S ON SATURDAY ALONG
WITH MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES. AFTERNOON WEST TO SOUTHWEST BREEZES 10 TO
20 MPH ARE EXPECTED FRIDAY AFTERNOON. MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITIES IN
THE LOW TO MID TEENS ON FRIDAY WILL DRY OUT A BIT TO THE 8 TO
13 PERCENT RANGE ON SATURDAY.
