RED FLAG CONDITIONS ON MONDAY. A RED FLAG WARNING IS NOW IN EFFECT
FROM NOON MONDAY UNTIL MIDNIGHT AKDT MONDAY NIGHT.

0900 UPDATE...UPDATE TO THE SPOT FORECAST TO INCREASE WIND SPEEDS
ON MONDAY...CONFIDENCE IS HIGH IN INCREASED DOWNSLOPING GAP WINDS
MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING OVER THE FIRE. WE ARE FORECASTING
SOUTH WINDS AFTER THE NOON HOUR OF GENERALLY 20 MPH...GUSTS IN
EXCESS OF 35 MPH ARE POSSIBLE INTO THE EVENING HOURS MONDAY.

FOR TODAY...THE FORECAST CALLS FOR THE WIND TO TAKE ON A GREATER
NORTHEAST COMPONENT THIS AFTERNOON. THE WINDS RETURN TO THE
SOUTHEAST OVERNIGHT AND STRENGTHEN ONCE AGAIN. GUSTS OVERNIGHT MAY
APPROACH 15 MPH AFTER MIDNIGHT IN FAVORED GAP DRAINAGES.
OTHERWISE...UPPER LEVEL RIDGING WILL EXPAND NORTH ACROSS THE
CENTRAL INTERIOR TODAY AND TONIGHT. CLOUDS WILL REMAIN FOR MUCH OF
THE DAY. THE FORECAST CALLS FOR SIMILAR TEMPERATURES AND MINIMUM
RELATIVITY AS YESTERDAY.
