.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers will develop during the late evening and
overnight, with increasing chances of thunderstorms late tonight
over north Mississippi. Noticeably increased humidity will prevail
across the Midsouth Monday and Tuesday afternoons. Sufficient heat
and humidity will prevail on Tuesday for scattered storms producing
locally heavy rainfall and hail. Increased coverage of thunderstorms
will occur along and ahead of cold front Tuesday night and early
Wednesday. This front will return dry and cooler air to the region
by late Wednesday afternoon and evening.
