For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Ridge of high pressure will take hold of the central
Great Lakes today in response to center of surface high
pressure...30.30 inches...building into the Ohio River Valley. A
weak cold front will push through the region on Thursday. Then a
strong low pressure system...potentially at 28.90 inches...will take
a flatter track across northern Ontario on Friday.

.TONIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest 15 to
20 knots in the late evening and overnight. A chance of snow
showers early in the morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 3 to
5 feet in the late evening and overnight.
.THURSDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots. A chance of snow showers
early in the morning. A chance of showers until late afternoon.
Waves 4 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots in the late evening and early morning...then becoming
southwest 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Waves 3 to 5 feet
