THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS THROUGH TONIGHT WILL LEAD TO AN ADDITIONAL
INCH OR TWO OF ACCUMULATION ACROSS FAR NORTHERN MINNESOTA. IN
ADDITION...BREEZY WINDS MAY LEAD TO AREAS OF BLOWING
SNOW...REDUCING VISIBILITY TO A MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

LAKE EFFECT SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN TONIGHT OVER THE SOUTH SHORE
OF LAKE SUPERIOR ACROSS NORTHWESTERN WISCONSIN. THIS SHOULD LAST
THROUGH THE DAY FRIDAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH
FRIDAY EVENING. SNOW AMOUNTS COULD RANGE BETWEEN 6 TO 12 INCHES,
SO A LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR IRON COUNTY,
ALONG WITH A LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY FOR ASHLAND AND BAYFIELD
COUNTIES IN WISCONSIN. PLEASE REFER TO THE LATEST WINTER WEATHER
MESSAGE FOR ADDITIONAL DETAILS.

ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO MOVE THROUGH THE REGION
SATURDAY THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY...BRINGING ANOTHER ROUND OF
ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL.

WATERS OF WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL REMAIN STRONG OVER LAKE SUPERIOR TODAY AS A
STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM PULLS EAST OUT OF THE AREA.  GALES ARE
EXPECTED TO PERSIST OVER LAKE SUPERIOR TODAY...AND MAY LINGER INTO
THIS EVENING FOR PARTS OF THE SOUTH SHORE AS WELL.  CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED TO REMAIN HAZARDOUS FOR SMALL CRAFT TODAY AND MOST OF
TONIGHT AS WELL. PLEASE REFER TO THE LATEST MARINE WEATHER MESSAGE
AND NEARSHORE MARINE FORECAST FOR ADDITIONAL DETAILS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

NORTHWEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE ONCE AGAIN THURSDAY
AFTERNOON AND NIGHT.  CONDITIONS MAY BECOME HAZARDOUS TO SMALL
