This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Winds will becoming northwest Wednesday and become strong with
gusts of 40 to 50 mph over the north half of the state. A
Wind Advisory is in effect for those areas Wednesday. Please
refer to the National Weather Service website at weather.gov/desmoines
for further details. Strong winds will also produce elevated fire
weather conditions in areas that do not receive precipitation.
