THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING
ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE.
THE PRIMARY THREAT WILL BE CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
OVER THE MOUNTAINS ON FRIDAY. LIGHTNING WILL BE THE PRIMARY
THREAT. IN ADDITION...GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITIES WILL COMBINE
TO PRODUCE DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS OVER THE SAN LUIS
VALLEY AND THE INTERSTATE 25 CORRIDOR.

A STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING MORE WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION ON SATURDAY. THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE
MOUNTAINS WILL LIKELY CONTAIN PEA SIZE HAIL ALONG WITH LIGHTNING.
STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE PALMER
DIVIDE AND NEAR THE KANSAS BORDER. HAIL TO NEAR ONE INCH IN
DIAMETER AND WIND GUSTS TO NEAR 60 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH
STRONGER STORMS. WEST OF THE DRYLINE...LOW HUMIDITY VALUES AND
GUSTY WINDS WILL PRODUCE DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS OVER
THE SAN LUIS VALLEY AND EASTERN PLAINS.

MORE WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST FOR SUNDAY
THROUGH TUESDAY ACROSS THE REGION. A FEW INCHES OF SNOW ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE ABOVE 10000 FEET OVER THE MOUNTAINS.
