THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN THIS EVENING
BEFORE DIMINISHING TONIGHT...SAVE FOR THE HIGHER OF THE EASTERN
SAWATCH AND WESTERN MOSQUITO RANGES...WHERE SNOW SHOWERS COULD
LINGER INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS
OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT...WITH THE GREATEST
AMOUNTS EXPECTED OVER THE HIGHER PEAKS OF THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS.

A COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS ALL OF THE SOUTHEAST
PLAINS THIS EVENING...BRINGING A CHANCE FOR SNOW SHOWERS TO THE
PIKES PEAK REGION AND PALMER DIVIDE DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...SPREADING SOUTHWARD INTO THE SOUTHERN I-25 CORRIDOR AND
NORTHERN RATON MESA SLOPES DURING THE LATE EVENING HOURS. ALTHOUGH
ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD GENERALLY REMAIN LIGHT...SNOWFALL OF 1 TO 3
INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE UNDER THE HEAVIER SHOWERS...ESPECIALLY
ACROSS THE SOUTHERN I-25 CORRIDOR...BEFORE THE SNOW DECREASES LATE
TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

ACCUMULATING LIGHT SNOW IS POSSIBLE OVER THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE
AND HIGHER TERRAIN LOCATIONS AT TIMES FROM WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY.
AT THIS TIME, IT APPEARS THAT ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS FROM
SUNRISE WEDNESDAY UNTIL SUNSET THURSDAY SHOULD RUN FROM TRACE
AMOUNTS TO AROUND 2 INCHES OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND HIGHER TERRAIN
LOCATIONS.

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL
BE LIKELY TONIGHT ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS AND ADJACENT PLAINS.
