...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE OVER THE COASTAL WATERS THIS
MORNING...

A WEAK UPPER LEVEL WAVE LIFTING NORTH OFF THE SO CAL COAST WILL
BRING A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH LATE MORNING. THE
BEST CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE BEYOND 30 MILES OFF THE
COAST...INCLUDING NEAR SAN CLEMENTE ISLAND.

THE PRIMARY THREAT WILL BE CLOUD-TO-WATER LIGHTNING. DUE TO THE
HIGH BASED NATURE OF THESE STORMS...LITTLE TO NO PRECIPITATION IS
EXPECTED. INSTABILITY RAPIDLY DIMINISHES BY THE EARLY
AFTERNOON...ENDING THE THUNDERSTORM THREAT.
