URGENT - MARINE WEATHER MESSAGE

...STRONG WINDS AND ROUGH SEAS EXPECTED...

.STRONG TRADE WINDS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS TODAY
AND TONIGHT...WHILE A LARGE NORTH SWELL SPREADS INTO THE AREA.
THE COMBINATION OF WINDS AND SEAS WILL CAUSE SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY
CONDITIONS ACROSS ALMOST ALL OF THE COASTAL WATERS BY LATE THIS
AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING. ROUGH CONDITIONS ARE THEN EXPECTED TO
CONTINUE ACROSS THE WATERS TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY.

ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 6 PM HST FRIDAY.

* WINDS...NORTH TO NORTHEAST INCREASING TO 20 TO 30 KT.

* SEAS...BUILDING TO 9 TO 14 FEET IN THE OPEN OCEAN.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS SPEEDS OF 25 TO 33 KNOTS
AND/OR SEAS 10 FEET OR GREATER ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE CONDITIONS
HAZARDOUS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS, ESPECIALLY
THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS, SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE
CONDITIONS.
