QUICKLY TO THE WEST-NORTHWEST AT AROUND 20 KNOTS THROUGH THE COASTAL
WATERS OF THE FLORIDA KEYS. THESE SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL MOVE FROM
THE STRAITS OF FLORIDA INTO HAWK CHANNEL...CROSSING THE ISLAND CHAIN
NEAR THE MIDDLE AND UPPER KEYS. MARINERS...BOATERS...AND RESIDENTS
SHOULD PREPARE FOR OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING STRIKES...ESPECIALLY WITHIN
THE HEAVIEST DOWNPOURS. ALSO...EXPECT WINDS GUSTS NEAR 30 KNOTS AND
POOR VISIBILITY. THE MARATHON AIRPORT RECENTLY RECORDED 2 AND A HALF
MILE VISIBILITY WITHIN A RECENT DOWNPOUR.
