.NOW...
Through 200 am, scattered to numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms
will continue to impact the entire Florida Keys Island Chain and the
surrounding Florida Bay, nearshore and offshore Gulf, Hawk Channel,
and Florida Straits waters. Mariners and motorists in the path of the
stronger activity will encounter brief moderate to heavy rainfall
accompanied by visibility less than 2 nm, wind gusts around 25 mph,
and occasional lightning strikes. Across the islands, a few locations
could receive up to an additional inch of rainfall. Look out for
ponding of waters on the roadways. Movement of individual showers
and storms is to the northwest between 5 and 10 knots.
