WEDNESDAY...

* LOCATION...PORTIONS OF ANCHORAGE AND THE MATANUSKA VALLEY.

* TEMPERATURES...UPPER 20S TO LOWER 30S.

* TIMING...TEMPERATURES WILL DROP BELOW FREEZING EARLY WEDNESDAY
  MORNING. THE COLDEST TEMPERATURES AND LONGEST DURATION OF SUB-
  FREEZING TEMPERATURES WILL BE FROM EAST ANCHORAGE NORTHWARD TO
  THE EAGLE RIVER VALLEY AND FROM WASILLA WESTWARD IN THE
  MATANUSKA VALLEY.

* IMPACTS...SENSITIVE OUTDOOR PLANTS AND OTHER VEGETATION MAY BE
  DAMAGED OR KILLED BY COLD TEMPERATURES IF LEFT UNPROTECTED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FREEZE WARNING MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE IMMINENT OR
HIGHLY LIKELY. THESE CONDITIONS WILL KILL CROPS AND OTHER
SENSITIVE VEGETATION.
