...Dense Fog Expected this Evening...

.Fog will remain widespread across much of central Iowa this
evening and will be dense in many locations. Low level moisture
has streamed north into Iowa during the day and generated plenty
of low clouds and fog. It will not be long lived however as a
frontal boundary will continue moving northwest to southeast
through Iowa tonight.

The National Weather Service in Des Moines has cancelled the
Dense Fog Advisory.

Visibilities have improved as cooler, drier air gradually worked
into northern and western Iowa late this evening on increasing
north winds.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST
TONIGHT...

* VISIBILITY...Visibilities of less than a mile will be widespread
  this evening with many locations down to a quarter mile or less.

* IMPACTS...Dense fog will make travel hazardous tonight with
  limited sight distance between vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
