...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM MDT
TUESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a
Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 9 PM this evening to 9 AM
MDT Tuesday.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE...Craig, Hayden, Meeker, Steamboat Springs,
  De Beque, New Castle, Mesa, Parachute, Rifle, Silt, Eagle,
  Edwards, Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Cortez, Dove Creek,
  Mancos, Durango, Bayfield, Ignacio, and Pagosa Springs.

* TEMPERATURES...Will drop into the upper 20s to low 30s.

* TIMING...Coldest temperatures will occur shortly before sunrise.

* IMPACTS...Valley temperatures dropping below freezing will
  damage crops and sensitive vegetation. Small, exposed water
  lines, such as those associated with swamp coolers, could freeze
  up.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.
