...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a High Wind
Warning, which is in effect until midnight CDT tonight. The Wind
Advisory is no longer in effect.

* TIMING...Through late this evening.

* WINDS...Southeast to south with gusts of 30 to 55 mph.

* IMPACTS...The gusty winds be sustained for a period and will
  result in downed trees and powerlines. Travel will also be
  difficult at times especially if traveling on bridges and
  overpasses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

  near 35 mph.

* IMPACTS...The gusty winds could result in the downing of large
  limbs, as well as blowing around loose lawn objects. Travel
  will also be difficult at times especially if traveling on
  bridges and overpasses as well as east to west oriented
  roadways.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 25 to 39 mph or frequent
gusts of 30 to 39 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make
driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use
extra caution. Secure loose outdoor objects to prevent them from
being blown around.
