...GUSTY WEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE FROM THE MOUNTAIN RIDGES TO
PORTIONS OF THE DESERTS THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...

.An upper level trough moving across the region will create gusty
westerly winds over portions of the mountains and deserts through
Thursday morning. Strongest winds will be along ridge tops to the
desert mountain slopes. Winds will diminish Thursday morning.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THURSDAY...

* WINDS...Westerly 25 to 35 mph...with local gusts to 45 mph in
  the deserts and 55 mph along desert mountain slopes.

* TIMING...Through Thursday morning.

* LOCATION...Strongest winds on ridge tops and desert mountain
  slopes.

* VISIBILITY...Only locally reduced in the deserts due to
  blowing dust and sand.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving for motorists in high profile
  vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
