.SYNOPSIS...Post-Tropical Cyclone Jose was centered near 39.5N
67W, or about 170 nm SE of Nantucket at 8 AM EDT this morning
with maximum winds around 25 kt just to the SE of the center.
Post-Tropical Cyclone Jose will remain nearly stationary today,
and then dissipate tonight or early Mon. Also, S to SE swell from
Hurricane Maria will impact the area today into Thu night.
Hurricane Maria will approach from the S today into tonight, and
is expected to be near 30.8N 73.2W at 8 AM EDT Mon, 32.9N 73.4W
at 8 AM Tue, 34.4N 73.5W at 8 AM Wed, turn toward the E and NE
and reach a position near 35.5N 71.8W at 8 AM Thu, and move to
near 36.5N 68W at 8 AM Fri. Please refer to the latest National
Hurricane Center advisory for Hurricane Maria. Otherwise, a weak
high pres ridge over the S and central waters will dissipate
today. A cold front will move over the NW portion late Thu into
Thu night.
