...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MOVED THROUGH PARTS OF THE SANDHILLS AND
CENTRAL NEBRASKA MONDAY EVENING...

A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVED FROM SOUTH DAKOTA INTO CHERRY
COUNTY MONDAY AFTERNOON. ONCE IN NEBRASKA...THE STORMS STRENGTHENED
AS THEY TRAVELED SOUTHEAST. STRONG WINDS FROM THE THUNDERSTORMS
DOWNED TREES IN PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST CHERRY...SOUTHERN
BROWN...BLAINE...AND LOUP COUNTIES. THE STORMS WERE ALSO HEAVY RAIN
PRODUCERS...DROPPING OVER AN INCH OF RAIN IN AS LITTLE AS 20
MINUTES. ANOTHER STORM DEVELOPED IN SOUTHERN CUSTER COUNTY AND
PRODUCED GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL. BY 8 PM CDT...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
HAD MOVED INTO SOUTH CENTRAL AND EASTERN NEBRASKA. THE LIST OF
RECEIVED STORM REPORTS IS BELOW.
