DISCUSSION:

STRONG ONSHORE FLOW AND A DEEP MOIST LAYER WILL GENERATE PATCHY
DRIZZLE THIS MORNING FROM THE FOOTHILLS TO THE COAST. BY THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING...THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS
OVER THE MOUNTAINS AS WELL AS INTERIOR SAN LUIS OBISPO AND SANTA
BARBARA COUNTIES...BUT ANY RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE VERY LIGHT.

FOR TONIGHT AND FRIDAY...AN UPPER LOW WILL TRACK ACROSS THE AREA.
THIS WILL RESULT IN THE POSSIBILITY OF SHOWERS TONIGHT AND FRIDAY
MORNING FOR ALL AREAS...WITH EVEN THE POSSIBILITY OF AN ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORM OVER LOS ANGELES COUNTY. BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...THERE WILL CONTINUE TO BE A THREAT OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERT FOOTHILLS. RAINFALL
AMOUNTS THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING WILL BE QUITE VARIABLE. MOST AREAS
THAT RECEIVE ANY RAINFALL CAN EXPECT ONE TENTH OF AN INCH OR LESS.
HOWEVER FOR ANY AREAS THAT EXPERIENCE A THUNDERSTORM...HIGHER
RAINFALL AMOUNTS BETWEEN ONE QUARTER AND ONE HALF INCH WILL BE
POSSIBLE.

DRY WEATHER WILL PREVAIL SATURDAY THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
