...All River Forecast Points are Below Flood Stage...

An active weather pattern is expected to bring several rounds
of showers and thunderstorms to the region through Monday.
A warm front will extend through the forecast area this afternoon
and tonight...with a strong low pressure system drawing close to
the area Sunday and Monday.

Rainfall amounts of one-and-one-half inches or more are expected
with highest amounts exceeding two-and-one-half inches over
portions of the Savannah River basin.

The Stevens Creek at Modoc SC which feeds into the Savannah basin
below Lake Thurmond has a good chance of reaching its flood stage
sometime on Sunday. Other area rivers are expected to experience
at least minor to moderate rises through the Monday timeframe.
