...River Levels to Elevate due to Runoff and Snowmelt...

.Recent rainfall, combined with snowmelt from the past few days,
will flow through streams, rivers, and tributaries through this
week and into next week. The return of abnormally warm weather has
resulted in additional melting of snowcover over the past several
days. This in combination with yesterday`s rainfall will result in
modest rises on the Mississippi River this weekend and into next
week. People with interests near area streams and rivers are
encouraged to monitor the latest forecast.
