Water levels can be expected to rise on the Hatchie River...
L`anguille River...Little Tallahatchie Canal...Right Hand Chute
Little River...Tombigbee River.
At 9 PM Friday, the stage on the Right Hand Chute Little River at
Rivervale was 3.3 feet and rising. Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
At 8 PM Friday, the stage on the L`anguille River at Palestine was
20.8 feet and rising. Flood stage is 25.0 feet.At 22.0 feet, Crop
land near the river is affected by flood water..
At 9 PM Friday, the stage on the Hatchie River near Bolivar was 10.1
feet and rising. Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
At 9 PM Friday, the stage on the Little Tallahatchie Canal at Little
Tallahatchie River at Etta near New Albany was 18.9 feet and rising.
Flood stage is 25.0 feet.At 24.0 feet, Widespread farmland flooding
is beginning. Small tributary streams are causing backwater flooding
between New Albany and State Highway 30..
At 9 PM Friday, the stage on the Tombigbee River near Amory was 14.2
feet and rising. Flood stage is 20.0 feet.At 20.0 feet, Lowland
