.While scattered thunderstorms are expected through Saturday, flooding is not expected on
any local river. However, Myakka River at Myakka River State Park is in action stage and
could potentially reach minor flood stage if heavy thunderstorms develop over this basin
and this river will need to be closely monitored. Furthermore, Horse Creek at Arcadia is
forecasted to approach action stage later tonight and early Saturday morning but is forecast
to remain below flood stage into early next week.

9 PM Friday.
