COOLER TEMPERATURES WERE OBSERVED ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS THIS
AFTERNOON AS A COOLER AIRMASS WAS USHERED INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS
EARLY THIS MORNING. THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING, A FEW PERSISTENT
THUNDERSTORMS WERE OBSERVED ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS. HIGHS
TODAY RANGED FROM THE LOWER 80S IN EASTERN COLORADO TO THE MID 80S
IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

AS UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS PARKED ACROSS THE SOUTHERN
PLAINS TONIGHT, FLOW ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS WILL BECOME MORE
NORTHWESTERLY. SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL
SHOW VERY LITTLE MOVEMENT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING. THUNDERSTORM
ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH SUNSET ALONG THE OKLAHOMA
BORDER. MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES ARE EXPECTED THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY
AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE THROUGH THE
WEEKEND.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 50S IN
NORTHEASTERN COLORADO TO THE LOWER 70S IN NORTHERN OKLAHOMA. HIGHS
ON THURSDAY WILL TOP OUT INTO THE MID 80S ACROSS THE CENTRAL
PLAINS.
