A FEW MID AND HIGH CLOUDS DRIFTED EAST FROM EASTERN COLORADO
OVERNIGHT, KEEPING SKIES IN WESTERN KANSAS PARTLY CLOUDY THROUGH
EARLY THIS MORNING. LOW TEMPERATURES OVERNIGHT DROPPED INTO THE MID
50S TO LOW 60S FROM EASTERN COLORADO THROUGH CENTRAL KANSAS, WITH
MID 60S TO LOW 70S ACROSS EASTERN KANSAS.

THE WEAK UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE STRETCHING FROM THE
SOUTHERN THROUGH THE NORTHERN PLAINS WILL MOVE OFF TO THE EAST
TONIGHT, AS AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE TROUGH APPROACHES FROM THE
WEST. SURFACE LOW PRESSURE TROUGHING TO THE LEE OF THE ROCKIES WILL
ADVANCE EAST TO NEAR THE COLORADO AND KANSAS BORDER BY TOMORROW
MORNING. THIS WILL BRING A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS TO
EASTERN COLORADO AND NORTHWEST KANSAS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING,
WITH AN INCREASING CHANCE TOMORROW AFTERNOON FROM EASTERN COLORADO
THROUGH WESTERN KANSAS. ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN ACROSS
WESTERN KANSAS THROUGH THE REST OF THE WEEKEND.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL REACH INTO THE LOW 90S FROM EASTERN
COLORADO THROUGH EASTERN KANSAS. LOWS TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE
UPPER 50S TO UPPER 60S FROM EASTERN COLORADO THROUGH WESTERN
KANSAS, WITH LOWS AROUND 70 IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS.
