Weather Summary for Portions of the Central Plains
National Weather Service Hastings NE
816 PM CDT Mon Aug 29 2016

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue this evening and
into the overnight. Because of the very moist
atmosphere...thunderstorms will produce very heavy downpours which
may lead to localized flash flooding. Some locations have already
received 1 to 2 inches already. Low temperatures drop into the
mid-60s. Rain chances will continue Tuesday into
Wednesday...especially across southern parts of the area. High
temperatures are expected to reach the upper 70s to low 80s each day
with easterly winds around 10 MPH.
