REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY

Last night was mostly cloudy after midnight with no significant rain
reported. Low temperatures this morning were around the 70 degree
mark. A few heavier showers began during the morning hours of today
in southern and central portions of the state and continued into the
afternoon hours. Some of the heaviest showers contained a few
rumbles of thunder along with up to a quick half inch of rain.
Mercury readings by early afternoon were in the low to mid 80s
except in rain cooled locations were temperatures briefly dropped
into the 70s.
A weakening cold front will approach tonight and move through
tomorrow. There will be a good chance of showers and thunderstorms
tonight with lows mostly in the low 70s. Showers and thunderstorms
are likely tomorrow as the dissipating cold front tries to move
through the state. Highs tomorrow will once again be in the 80s.
