Skies were mostly clear last night and winds were light and
variable. Low temperatures ranged from 61 degrees at Fort Knox to 67
degrees at Louisville International Airport.

This afternoon skies were mostly sunny with temperatures in the mid
to upper 80s.

A deepening area of low pressure with a trailing cold front will
move closer to Kentucky overnight and pass through the state during
the day on Sunday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop across
the state tonight, some may be severe. Lows will be in the mid 70s.

On Sunday there will be another threat of showers and
thunderstorms. Once again, some may be severe especially east of
Interstate 65 and especially across the Bluegrass Region. High
temperatures will be around 90.

A nice workweek is taking shape with cooler and less humid air
