SKIES ACROSS THE REGION RANGED FROM MOSTLY SUNNY OVER NORTHERN
ILLINOIS TO PARTLY SUNNY ACROSS CENTRAL PARTS OF THE STATE.
IN SPITE OF MORE SUNSHINE TODAY...TEMPERATURES REMAINED
UNSEASONABLY COOL FOR THE FIRST DAY OF JUNE. AFTERNOON HIGHS WERE
GENERALLY IN THE 60S IN MOST LOCATIONS...EXPECT NEAR LAKE
MICHIGAN...WHERE TEMPERATURES REMAINED IN THE 50S.

SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE GREAT LAKES WILL CONTINUE TO TO
DRIFT EAST INTO TUESDAY. THIS WILL RESULT IN WARMER TEMPERATURES
INTO THE 70S INLAND AND THE 60S ALONG THE LAKESHORE ON TUESDAY.
TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE ON AN UPWARD TREND THROUGH THURSDAY.
