406 PM CDT SAT MAY 23 2015

AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES REACHED THE MID 70S TO ABOUT 80 TODAY,
SKIES WERE MOSTLY CLOUDY, WITH HIGH CLOUDS MOVING IN AHEAD OF A
WEATHER SYSTEM EXPECTED TO BRING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE
AREA. WINDS WERE SOUTHEASTERLY AT 10 TO 20 MPH.

BY SUNDAY A WARM FRONT WILL LIFT INTO THE QUAD STATE REGION BRINGING
A CHANCE OF RAIN. BY MONDAY THE FRONT WILL BE NORTH OF US PROVIDING
THE BEST CHANCE OF RAIN FOR THE AREA. A WARM SOUTHERLY FLOW WILL
BRING GULF MOISTURE STREAMING INTO THE AREA THROUGH THE ENTIRE WORK
WEEK. THIS WILL PROVIDE DAILY CHANCES OF STORMS ESPECIALLY COMBINED
WITH MAX AFTERNOON HEATING. A WEAK DISTURBANCE ALOFT COULD ALSO
BRING A CHANCE OF STORMS IN THE NIGHT TIME HOURS AS WELL. NEAR OR
ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED WITH RELATIVELY HIGH HUMIDITY
UNTIL LATE NEXT WEEKEND OR EARLY NEXT WEEK...WHEN OUR NEXT COLD
FRONT SHOULD REACH THE HEARTLAND.
