NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
315 PM CDT Wed Oct 22 2014
It was a chilly Wednesday morning with lows ranging from the mid 30s
to the lower 40s across the Heartland. Despite the occasional cool
breeze, clear skies have allowed most locations to warm into the mid
60s by 3 PM.
High pressure at the surface and an upper level ridge will provide
mostly clear skies and dry conditions through the rest of the work
week and through the weekend into Monday. Low temperatures tonight will
bottom out in the mid to upper 30s, making it likely for areas of
frost along and east of the Mississippi River. After tonight, above
normal temperatures return for the weekend and into next week. Highs
through Monday will peak in the mid to upper 70s with lows ranging
from the mid 40s to mid 50s. The next chance for precipitation will
be early next week as a frontal system crosses the Quad State area.
