EAST OF ROTA NEAR 14N148E...MOVING WESTWARD AT 16 MPH WITH MAXIMUM
SUSTAINED WINDS OF 35 MPH. NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
BETWEEN 15N AND 11N FROM 145E TO 150E. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS NORTH OF CHUUK ARE BETWEEN 14N AND 8N FROM 151E TO

TRADE-WIND CONVERGENCE AND UPPER-LEVEL DIVERGENCE ARE CAUSING CLOUDS
AND PATCHY SHOWERS WITH A FEW THUNDERSTORMS IN A LARGE AREA NORTH OF
POHNPEI AND KOSRAE TO NEAR WAKE ISLAND MAINLY BETWEEN 20N TO 8N FROM
156E TO 170E.

AN UPPER-LEVEL LOW CENTERED NEAR 17N134E IS TRIGGERING SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS NORTHWEST OF KOROR WEST OF A LINE
FROM 15N131E TO 10N132E.

A SURFACE TROUGH FAR NORTHWEST OF THE MARIANAS RUNS NORTHWESTWARD
FROM 17N141E TO 20N138E. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS
ARE WITHIN 35 MILES OF THE TROUGH.
