...PATCHY DENSE FOG EARLY THIS MORNING...

FOG HAS BEGUN TO DEVELOP ACROSS PARTS OF CHATHAM COUNTY...INCLUDING
THE SAVANNAH METRO AREA. THE FOG IS FAIRLY SHALLOW IN NATURE...BUT
HAS BECOME LOCALLY DENSE IN SPOTS. MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR
RAPIDLY CHANGING VISIBILITIES OVER SHORT DISTANCES. THE DENSEST FOG
WILL OCCUR IN LOW LYING AREAS SUCH AS RIVERS...LARGE DITCHES...
MARSHES AND SWAMPS.

THE FOG WILL QUICKLY DISSIPATE AFTER SUNRISE. SHOULD DENSE FOG
BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD...THEN A DENSE FOG ADVISORY WILL BE ISSUED.
