...LOCALLY DENSE FOG EARLY THIS MORNING...

Areas of fog will persist across portions interior Southeast
South Carolina early this morning. The fog will be locally dense
with visibilities dropping to 1/4 mile or less at times. The risk
for dense fog will be greatest near low-lying areas and bodies of
water such as marshes, lakes, rivers and large ditches.

The nature of the fog is such that visibilities will vary greatly
over very short distances. Motorists should be alert to these rapidly
changing conditions. Always use low beam headlights whenever dense
fog is encountered.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If driving, slow down and leave extra distance ahead of you in
case a sudden stop is needed.
