A STRONG HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST INTO THE UPPER
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY THIS THANKSGIVING DAY. THIS HIGH WILL PRODUCE A
NORTHERLY WIND FLOW OF UNSEASONABLY COLD AIR.

THE HIGH WILL REACH THE EAST COAST OF THE UNITED STATES BY LATE
FRIDAY. A SOUTHWEST WIND FLOW ON THE BACK SIDE OF THIS HIGH WILL
BRING MILDER TEMPERATURES FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

THE MILDEST DAY WILL BE SUNDAY, IMMEDIATELY AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT
MOVING SOUTHEAST ACROSS MISSOURI AND ILLINOIS. THERE IS A SMALL
CHANCE OF RAIN AHEAD OF THE FRONT, BUT THE RAIN WILL BE MOSTLY
BEHIND THE FRONT SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL COOL
BACK DOWN EARLY NEXT WEEK AS AN ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM
PASSES ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES REGION.
