URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SUNRISE...

.The back edge of the snow is beginning to push eastward quickly
with clearing a few counties to the west of the line.
Temperatures are quickly dropping into the upper 20s under clear
skies. The snow will continue with it ending around 7 am in the
southeast.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CST THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Snow continues. Plan on difficult travel conditions,
  with temperatures dropping into the upper 20s just behind the
  line of snow. Storm total snow accumulations by sunrise of 5
  inches will be common, with higher totals up to 10 inches in
  the higher terrain in east central Alabama. Most of the
  accumulations will on be grassy and elevated surfaces, but
  some roadways will become covered.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Alabama.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM CST Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in
  visibility at times and hazardous driving conditions. Be
  especially careful as trees, limbs and power lines may come
  down due to the weight of the snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of ice are
occurring This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.

  possible, with the highest amounts on grassy and elevated
  surfaces.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
  times. Some roadways may become hazardous.
