MONDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR A MIXTURE OF RAIN AND SNOW...WHICH IS
IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO NOON EST MONDAY.

* LOCATIONS...FAR NORTH GEORGIA. MAINLY ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE
  FROM CLOUDLAND TO CALHOUN TO CLEVELAND.

* HAZARD TYPES...A RAIN AND SNOW MIXTURE AT ELEVATIONS MAINLY
  ABOVE 1500 FEET. PATCHY BLACK ICE IS POSSIBLE.

* IMPACTS...LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOWFALL WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES
  DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE. ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL AT THE HIGHEST
  ELEVATIONS MAY CAUSE SLICK SPOTS ON ROADWAYS. THERE IS ALSO SOME
  POTENTIAL FOR BLACK ICE...SO DRIVERS SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION
  AND ALLOW FOR PLENTY OF SPACE BETWEEN CARS. GUSTY WINDS ARE ALSO
  EXPECTED AND MAY DOWN TREES WHERE SOILS ARE SATURATED.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATIONS UP TO AN INCH ARE
  POSSIBLE...MAINLY AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE 1500 FEET. PATCHY BLACK
  ICE IS ALSO POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY ACROSS ELEVATED ROADWAYS SUCH
  AS BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.

* TIMING...A RAIN AND SNOW MIXTURE IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AFTER 4
  AM THIS MORNING ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF NORTH GEORGIA BUT
  TAPER OFF DURING THE EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS ON MONDAY. ELEVATIONS
  ABOVE 2200 FEET MAY SEE A CHANGEOVER TO ALL SNOW AFTER SUNRISE.
  FLURRIES MAY CONTINUE INTO THE MID AFTERNOON.

* WINDS...WINDS WILL BECOME GUSTY OUT OF THE NORTHWEST EARLY
  TOMORROW MORNING. FREQUENT GUSTS TO AROUND 30 MPH ARE POSSIBLE
  THROUGH THE MORNING.

* TEMPERATURES...TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER 30S IN THE HIGHER
  ELEVATIONS.
