URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MIDDAY TUESDAY...

.A MIX OF FREEZING RAIN, SLEET AND SNOW WILL PRODUCE HAZARDOUS
TRAVEL OVERNIGHT. THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR A QUARTER TO HALF INCH
OF ICE ACROSS CENTRAL WISCONSIN IF THE PRECIPITATION DOES NOT
CHANGE TO SLEET OR SNOW. A TENTH TO QUARTER INCH OF ICE IS
EXPECTED ELSEWHERE. PAVEMENT TEMPERATURES ARE BELOW FREEZING, SO
ROADS AND SIDEWALKS WILL BE VERY SLICK EVEN IF AIR TEMPERATURES
RISE ABOVE FREEZING.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREEN BAY HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR MIXED PRECIPITATION...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL
NOON CST TUESDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN
EFFECT.

* TIMING...FREEZING RAIN, MIXED WITH SLEET OR SNOW AT TIMES, WILL
  CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING.

* SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS...ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF A QUARTER INCH
  OR MORE ARE EXPECTED. A HALF INCH OF ICE IS POSSIBLE IF THE
  PRECIPITATION REMAINS AS FREEZING RAIN. SOME SLEET AND SNOW IS
  POSSIBLE.

* IMPACTS...THE FREEZING RAIN WILL RESULT IN UNTREATED PAVEMENT
  BECOMING VERY SLIPPERY. TRAVEL WILL BE EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF
SNOW...SLEET...AND ICE ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. STRONG WINDS ARE

* TIMING...EXPECT A WINTRY MIX OF SNOW...SLEET...AND FREEZING
  RAIN TO DEVELOP BY EARLY EVENING AND THEN CONTINUE OVERNIGHT.
  THE PRECIPITATION WILL DIMINISH TUESDAY MORNING.

* SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS...FREEZING RAIN WILL RESULT IN A
  GLAZE UP TO 1/10 OF AN INCH THICK ON OUTDOOR SURFACES. A TOTAL
  ACCUMULATION OF SLEET AND SNOW OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IS POSSIBLE.

* ALTHOUGH AIR TEMPERATURES MAY WARM TO NEAR FREEZING TUESDAY
  MORNING...THE GROUND WILL BE MUCH SLOWER TO WARM. AS A
  RESULT... ICE IS LIKELY TO CONTINUE TO ACCRUE UNTREATED
  ROADS... SIDEWALKS...AND PARKING LOTS INTO TUESDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...THE SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL RESULT IN
  UNTREATED PAVEMENT BECOMING VERY SLIPPERY. TRAVEL COULD BECOME

  OVERNIGHT. THE PRECIPITATION WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH TUESDAY
  MORNING.

* SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE IS
  POSSIBLE ON TREES AND OTHER ELEVATED SURFACES. UP TO A QUARTER
  INCH OF ICE COULD FORM ON UNTREATED PAVEMENT. AIR TEMPERATURES
  ARE LIKELY TO WARM A LITTLE ABOVE FREEZING OVERNIGHT OR TUESDAY
  MORNING. THIS WILL LESSEN THE LIKELIHOOD THAT SIGNIFICANT A
  LAYER OF ICE WILL DEVELOP ON TREES AND POWER LINES. BUT THE
  GROUND WILL BE MUCH SLOWER TO WARM. AS A RESULT...ICE IS LIKELY
  TO CONTINUE TO ACCRUE ON UNTREATED ROADS...SIDEWALKS...AND
