...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM AST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Bayamon, Catano, Dorado and Toa Baja.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM AST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Overflowing poor
  drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 630 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Toa Baja, Sabana Seca, Toa Alta, Dorado, Catano, Vega Alta,
    Guaynabo, Ingenio, Candelaria Arenas, Campanilla, Candelaria,
    San Jose, Levittown, Rio Lajas, San Antonio and Mucarabones.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
