.DISCUSSION...

A Pacific cold front moves across the area this morning, bringing
a period of snow with snow showers possible at times through early
this evening. Snow accumulations of up to 1/2 inch are possible.
A cooler airmass settles back into the region through the upcoming
weekend with a better chance for minor snow accumulation (up to
around 1 inch) Friday night into Saturday morning. Breezy west
winds will follow the cold front today with lighter southwest winds
on Friday turning more north or northeasterly on Saturday.

                    then snow showers likely in the afternoon.
