...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN SCHLEICHER...
NORTHWESTERN KIMBLE AND NORTHERN SUTTON COUNTIES THROUGH 915 PM
CDT...

At 851 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Us-277 Near The Sutton-Schleicher County Line, or 11 miles northwest
of Sonora, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sonora, The Intersection Of I-10 And Ranch Road 1989, Us-
277 Near The Sutton-
Schleicher County Line, The Intersection Of Ranch Road 2596 And Ranch
Road 864, and I-10 Near The Crockett-Sutton County Line.

This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 380 and 413.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
west central Texas.
